Strategic Planning
Helping clients be intentional about their marketing and communications efforts to maximize effectiveness
Wonder why we have such an interesting name? It’s because a washed-up catcher in the Carolina League showed us that you don’t get from the minors to the big leagues overnight. True success takes hard work and persistence to earn that “one extra flare … a gork … a ground ball with eyes … just one more dying quail a week” needed to get where you want to go. That’s why we wake up with a passion to help our clients get a little better each day…
For executives, we provide strategic guidance and help them evaluate their broader business decisions through a communications lens.
For marketing and communications leaders, we support their teams by leveraging decades of relationships and expertise to help them communicate effectively.
For startups and growing brands, we bring knowledge, relationships and expertise to help scale their brand and reach a broader audience.
We are an executive advisory, working with leaders and their teams to maximize impact. For many organizations, they have the resources in-house to execute on projects but need strategic assistance or subject matter expertise.
When internal teams do not have the resources or bandwidth to complete projects, 25 Hits works with its team of collaborators to create a project team that delivers best-in-class work. Those collaborators include former journalists, brand strategists, graphic designers, web developers, photographers, videographers, researchers and more.
Our core competencies include:
Remarkable brands deliver superior products or services while fostering emotional connections that enhance the lives of their customers. We help great brands tell their story and manage risks to their reputation that could have far-reaching impact on their organization.
Sports organizations are billion-dollar brands and community assets that excel at winning games and delivering a great experience to their fans. We help sports properties interact with the broader community to communicate their impact beyond victories on the field of play.
Large-scale projects can transform local communities, but engaging the public around topics like economic development, transportation or education takes patience and experience. We help leaders effectively communicate to the myriad of stakeholders whose influence can make or break the deal.

25 Hits is led by Bryan Harris, a 20+ year veteran in the marketing communications field. He has spent his career helping sports organizations of all sizes navigate the marketing and communications challenges that prevent them from effectively reaching and activating their most important audiences. His expertise lies at the intersection of revenue and reputation, helping sports teams, leagues, brands and events ensure that they succeed on and off the field. He is a sought-after speaker, lecturer and media expert on sports-related topics.
In addition to his sports work, Bryan has managed outreach for educational institutions, public sector projects, industry organizations and leading brands. He also led crisis communications across many client sectors, helping organizations handle reputational challenges and emerge stronger.
Prior to founding 25 Hits, he spent nearly two decades at Jackson Spalding, one of the nation’s leading marketing communications firms. In his time there, he led their sports and crisis practices, while serving as an advisor on many corporate accounts.
Bryan attended Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Ala., where he was a member of their nationally-ranked golf team before transferring to The University of Georgia to finish school. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in sports studies with a minor in mass communications and a master’s degree with an emphasis in political communication. He is still involved at the Grady College, where he helped launch the Carmical Sports Media Institute, teaches an annual course in sports communication, is a past chair of the Alumni Board and currently serves on its Board of Trust.
Bryan is a leader in the sports community, where he serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Sports Council and the Golf Writers Association of America, as well as the Communications and Marketing Committee of the Georgia State Golf Association.
Bryan and his wife Ashlea live in Athens, Ga. with their two children – Kyle Grace and Hannon.
